It's important to know what caused their premature death clinically so that our young bright writers can learn from it and make sure we don't have to go through these irreparable losses in the future. The number one culprit is hepatitis b, then liver cirrhosis from hard drinks, and aids.

Correction!
My previous post should read thus "This piece is a immense blow, in our struggle among ourselves, against the position..." Or
to make it even more simple, replace the word 'blow' with 'help'! lest i am sending a different message.

Mount Everest Hero!
Contact Lhasang Tsering by physical mail, he is not connected to the internet!, or email Amne Machen Tashi Tsering. SFT is setting a great example to other Tibetan NGOs by giving grassroot leadership training to its members in various fields. Twenty years ago there was only one guy in TYC who could handle media well enough! He didn't have any such training! And he was one of the executive members! When he was hospitalized during a protest, every other executive member was backing off from the media mike! Blink! Blink!

TDG,
This piece is a immense blow in our struggle among ourselves against the position of indecision of our leadership on the question of independence. It will, to a great extent, clear away the political confusion from the minds of tibetans everywhere.
Thank you hero!

Great post on Thomas Paine's landmark work. Tibetans should read Common Sense. Where can one get the Tibetan translation? Is it online? Thanks Mila for writing this analytical and thoughtful piece. I'm putting the link to this article on Facebook.

Great article. The TGIE would be well inspired to follow the Chinese policy of always asking the maximum if they want to have a chance to get at least something in return! And the only way to achieve this is for all the Tibetans to ask for rangzen. The only success the TGIE might achieve with all this "kotowing" is that the Chinese authorities choke to death while loughing so much! HHDL middle way approach is only valid if the Tibetan people are asking for independence.

It's all too familiar - well observed and well put ! and hopefully will be widely read.
In the larger context and given his level & functions as head of state (not government) and protector of Tibet's culture, HHDL's Middle Path approach seems wise to me - too bad so many feel they are expected to conform to what HH does at the macro/global level, while possibly not following his example at the micro/personal level ?
